Krzysztof Lewandowski

Founder, Constructor, Designer

I have had a passion for electronics since childhood and the greatest joy came from taking apart toys and learning about their construction. I got my first soldering iron at the age of 13 and so, in 2008, the first tube DIY was created. Each subsequent design whetted my appetite for Hi-End and frequent visits to my neighbor; whose father ran audio salons in the 90s; gave me the opportunity to listen to and see the technologies used in the equipment of top manufacturers of the golden age of audio. Already in middle school, I took physics courses on behalf of the Warsaw University of Technology and, skipping high school, I studied the fields of Mechatronics and Telecommunications and Information Technology at the Warsaw University of Technology, obtaining a master's degree in mechatronics. After several years of working for the industry as a production line designer, I decided to abandon my career and use my specialist skills in production to commercialize my passion.
I created BonaWatt, which stems from my interest in building tube audio devices, which has accompanied me continuously for 15 years.

Soldering Technology Consultant

Passionate about audio equipment for as long as he can remember. Eccentric and perfectionist who, despite his profession, always swims against the current. Over 20 years of experience in the electronics industry, as an engineer of SMT, THT, Pressfit, etc. technological processes. One of the founders of KONTRA Speakers, designer and constructor in the field of loudspeakers.
Norbert Nabierzyński

Brand Ambassador

A fan of analog audio technology. A music lover for whom recordings have no secrets. Tape, vinyl, cassette? - AA- AnalogowyAbdul's daily dilemma. Access to our listening space and a private system allows him to pre-premiere evaluate the sound of BonaWatt equipment in each iteration, and there are really a lot of them!

Assembly
workshop ...

BonaWatt is an equipped production and measurement facility. When building equipment, we use calibrated digital multimeters and spectrum analyzers. Mirror elements of the stereo system are manually selected in pairs.
We optimize ready-made devices in terms of mutual relations of individual harmonics in the signal spectrum - we are not guided by THD minimization.

... and the listening and measurement place

Once the spectrum optimization process is complete, we move on to listening in an acoustically treated room with a linear amplitude response and controlled reverberation time. The final measurement is made in an audio system with a 24-bit, calibrated electret microphone.
